Home-Start (Hull) is a voluntary organisation that recruits, trains and manages home-visiting volunteers from the local community. Volunteers provide practical and emotional support to families in Hull who have at least one child under the age of 5. Each family's support is for around 2-3 hrs per week. We also have our Families in Mind (FIM) service providing support to families with long term and enduring mental health conditions, and our new after school club starting September in North Ferriby. In September 2019 we will also be extending our core work into Beverley to respond to requests of support within that area.
