Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Manchester City Council signed the Armed Forces Covenant in June 2013 and are currently holders of the Gold Award. We want to make sure that we continue support our employees and potential employees, who are in or have left the armed forces. We have a reservist policy that supports our armed forces colleagues providing guidance to both employees and managers. We offer 10 days' paid leave for reservists. Manchester City Council supports the Armed Forces Community and as such we are keen to recruit those with military links.
