Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
As a global Engineering Management Consultancy, and Defence contractor we are committed to support all areas of the Armed Forces and service families. We commit to actively recruit service leavers and families to give opportunities for all to enhance our company with a different mindset and transferable skills. We support all our staff who have a military affiliation with our Advancing Veterans Network, providing internal support for all staff to aid transition. We support our Reservists and Cadet Instructors by offering 2 weeks additional leave to conduct their reservist commitments throughout the year. We have also sponsored the Royal Engineers awards to recognise military engineering success. We also offer secondments for Armed Forces personnel into the company to obtain chartership. Being a flexible working company, we support military spouses and partners by offering a degree of flexibility to their work where possible due to changing military lifestyle. We advocate our Armed Forces Covenant commitments and continually adapt to the changing needs of our staff through the military steering group.
About us
Our UK operation stretches from Edinburgh right through to Bristol and we have over 4,000 staff working across the country. Mott MacDonald has a long history, dating back to 1902 and during this time we’ve worked on many wonderful and challenging projects, within areas such as water and aviation.
However, it’s not all about the big stuff. We really embed ourselves in communities by working on smaller, more localised projects. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do and leaving a legacy that we are proud of matters to us.
As an employee-owned company, we take a real interest in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, putting people before profit.
