Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
As a benevolent charity dedicated to providing support to the children and families of those serving or ex-serving from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Reserves and Royal Fleet Auxiliary our entire remit is in line with the Armed Forces Covenant. We spend around £1.3 million each year in providing for the needs of the Naval community and actively promote all enterprise and initiatives that support them both serving and in the veteran space. We work closely with other military charities and organisations, are a member of Cobseo and represent the needs of the military child through our CEO’s role as a Trustee with Children England. We strive to ensure that no child is disadvantaged because of their parents’ service in the Armed Forces.
About us
The Naval Children’s Charity provides grants in support of children up to and including the age of 25 who have a parent or guardian serving or ex-serving with the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Reserves and Royal Fleet Auxiliary. We also provide resources designed to support children experiencing separation from a parent or coping with the additional stresses attributable to their parents’ service. Full details of how we can help and how to access support are found on our website.
