Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
The Company is an Armed Forces friendly organisation and has signed the Armed Forces Covenant. As such we:
• allocate 10 days unpaid leave in addition to Annual leave for staff currently serving in the forces including Cadets. Additional days beyond this may be granted on a case by case basis;
• promote the fact that we are an armed forces-friendly organisation;
• seek to support the employment of veterans young and old and working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), in order to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers;
• strive to support the employment of Service spouses and partners;
• endeavour to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment;
• seek to support our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible;
• aim to actively participate in or support events such as Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, Armistice Day.
