About North East Lincolnshire Council

North East Lincolnshire Council is centrally located on the east coast of the UK on the banks of the river Humber, the UK's energy estuary. Our area includes the towns of:

- Grimsby – synonymous with the food industry and the growing renewable energy sector
- Cleethorpes – known for its miles of sandy beaches, historic pier and family-friendly activities.
- Immingham – a major business location with the UK’s largest port by tonnage.

North East Lincolnshire Council is a unitary authority with a key focus to assist the economic development and regeneration of our area. Alongside the emphasis on jobs and the local economy is the commitment to providing proper care and support for local residents. To do this we work with a broad range of partners including Engie, CCG and Lincs Inspire as well as a number of evolving arrangements with our other public sector partners. We have strong links with the voluntary sector and community groups and organisations as we seek to build a stronger economy and stronger communities.
