About us
Every day NWAS provides urgent and emergency health care and patient transport services across the North West. Every role is important; as everyone plays a part in achieving our vision: delivering the right care, at the right time, in the right place; every time.
Every year, we operate around 1000 vehicles on both emergency and non-emergency operations – our emergency crews attend more than one million incidents and our Patient Transport Service undertakes over 1.5 million non-emergency journeys. We receive over 1.3 million emergency calls and our NHS 111 Service handles more than 1.5 million calls.
Our Trust Headquarters is in Greater Manchester and has area offices serving the communities of Cheshire and Merseyside, Cumbria and Lancashire, and Greater Manchester.
