Paul J Watson Solicitor

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Paul J Watson Solicitor recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by:

  • promoting the fact that we are an armed forces-friendly organisation, which will be displayed on our website;
  • striving to support the employment of Service spouses and partners by having an inclusive recruitment policy;
  • endeavouring to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment..  We do our utmost to authorise all employees’ leave requests; however, we recognise that Service spouses and partners will need us to be particularly mindful of deployment dates when considering requests;
  • seeking to support our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible. The required annual training days will be offered as unpaid leave;
  • aiming to actively participate in Armed Forces Day;
  • offering a discount on private fees to members of the Armed Forces community;
  • We will publicise these commitments through our website, setting out how we will seek to honour them and inviting feedback from the Service community and our clients on how we are doing.
