Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Media Force is committed to supporting the Armed Forces community and recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We strive to support the values of the Armed Forces Covenant, and we will always consider offering an interview to spouses/partners if they meet the selection criteria laid out in a job advertisement.

We seek to support the employment of veterans, young and old, working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), in order to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers. We are an equal opportunities employer who has actively sought service leavers to join both their engineering and sales team.

We seek to support our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible. Our employee handbook provides employees with guidance on how to discuss their support and training needs with their line manager, should they wish to join the Reserve Forces.

About us

Media Force has been working closely with the Armed Forces for nearly two decades, supplying welfare and business internet connectivity services. More recently, we’ve moved beyond just broadband provision to develop a range of solutions that together form a connectivity ecosystem. This allows military sites to establish a fibre infrastructure, and then add additional capabilities on top of that fibre, as required. We understand the challenges faced by MOD facilities, and we work together with the on-site teams to overcome them, delivering high-speed network access and site-wide connectivity to some of the most remote locations in the UK.

We’re proud to support a number of Armed Forces charities. We help them by providing important welfare services, such as free internet access in recovery and training centres, reducing their costs, and allowing them to spend their funds where they’re needed most.
