Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Pertemps signed the Armed Forces Covenant in June 2014 and formed their own HM Forces Liaison Team in Apr 2015. The dedicated MoD team cater for Service Leavers, Veterans, Reservists, Spouses, Dependants, Cadets and Wounded Injured and Sick. In 2016, Pertemps in partnership with the MoD, launched the Port Folio Employment Model (PEM), a joint initiative with the MoD in offering flexible employment to the Army Reserve. In 2016 Pertemps was awarded the MoD Employer Recognition Scheme Gold award by Prince William.

Pertemp's Forces Liaison Team is dedicated in providing the right role to anyone from the wider military community due to their access to the Pertemp's Network.

  • We strive to support Forces Families through our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant in many ways, including:
  • We will always consider offering an interview to spouses/partners if they meet the selection criteria laid out in a
    job advert.
  • We will support spouses and partners to work from home where appropriate and look at flexible working
    opportunities.
  • We will support training and development which helps staff not only in their Pertemp's role, but will also be of benefit in future employment.
  • We will look sympathetically on requests for leave before, during or after a partner’s deployment according to Pertemp's policy.
  • We will grant special paid leave for employees who are bereaved or whose loved ones are injured.
