Therapies4Services

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

We will support reservist employees during times of mobilisation and demobilisation.  We will promote the importance of the reserve service at events such as Armed Forces Day and other events with easy access to information.  We have signed the Armed Forces Covenant. We attend Covenant and mental health meetings with other agencies that support the Armed Forces community.

We have spoken to our local cadet forces, asking how we can support them.

We attend open days/fairs to promote support.  We have educational opportunities available to be skilled in holistic therapies, beauty, first aid and mental health first aid for the Armed Forces community.  We also offer opportunities to volunteer with us leading into paid employment.

We offer taster sessions to individuals to learn therapies to help their partners as a form of relaxation and opportunities to gain a qualification.  We offer partners opportunities to volunteer with us leading to employment.  We will support families before, during and after operations.  We will also offer volunteers time off volunteering  during their partner's deployment or injury.

We will always consider offering an interview to spouses/partners if they meet the selection criteria laid out in the job advert.

We will support training and development which helps staff not only in their Therapies4Services role, but would benefit them in future employment.
