About us
Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem—our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn’t an option.
And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. It also affects students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities, because Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them.
Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms.
We take the complexity out of connectivity.
Our commitment to you and our Defence Communities
Wifinity has pledged to support our Defence Communities as part of the Armed Forces Covenant and are a proud holder of the Silver Award. As a family member of a member of our country’s military, we know that it can be difficult to break barriers that may not otherwise impact other candidates, especially when there is a potential of regular moves or where flexibility is required. Once again, this is where we are different. We are predominantly a remote business and therefore, if you were transferred anywhere within Great Britain, it is more than likely that you would be able to continue working with us. We also provide support during difficult times and also paid time off for reservists traing and CFAV training if you are involved with the Cadets as a Cadet Forces Adult Volunteer. And even if a transfer means that you can’t continue with us, we are proud to have been able to provide an opportunity to you, in support of our Defence Communities.
In a little bit more detail, some of the other benefits that we provide include:
Beyond these benefits, we also provide a generous private medical insurance package as well as subsidised gym membership, annual leave buy and sell and we have an Employee Assistance Program in place to support all of our employees through not only difficult times but also with financial assistance.
