Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
XFE recognise the value of the Armed Forces Covenant as a Gold Member. We promote the fact we are an armed forces friendly organisation. This ranges from seeking to support the employment of veterans, service spouses and partners. We also support our employees to choose to become a member of the reserves, should they wish to and volunteer paid time for military charities. We actively participate in Armed Forces Day and other memorable dates. Additionally, we aim to offer discounted services to the Armed Forces community to help support their business growth with both these services and business networking opportunities with wider organisations.
About us
Enterprise ForLife owns and runs a variety of social enterprises which support different community groups. The support these groups and their family members receive have a combination or mix of; career transition, employability, enterprise skills, self-employment and recognition of outstanding achievements. Community groups that are supported include; military veterans, uniformed blue-light services, the socially excluded and young.
The company was established in 2012, the programme of work was launched in July 2013. The organisation has two offices; one in Reading, the other in London.
