About us
YMCA Heart of England is an independent Christian charity, employing and working with people of all faiths and none, affiliated to the national and international YMCA movement. With a turnover approaching £5m, we are a registered provider of social housing, offering accommodation to around 300 young people across Birmingham and Coventry, many of whom have experienced homelessness, and supporting them to get their lives back on track. We also delivery youth work in Coventry, we operate two children's nurseries, manage two community centres with conferencing facilities and deliver a range of business to business training, all of which create employment opportunities and deliver income for our charitable work.
At YMCA Heart of England, we employee 125 members of staff in the above areas and also in Human Resources, Finance, ICT, Maintenance, Health and Safety, Development and Chaplaincy services.
