National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) Childcare Works Project

National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) has been granted funding by the Covenant Trust’s Supporting Partner’s Programme to deliver a 16-week paid employment programme, to support partners of serving military personnel in Wrexham who are interested in pursuing a career in childcare. 

We are looking to recruit 5 individuals to employ as Trainee Nursery Assistants for this cohort. The programme is delivered over 16 weeks, with 4 weeks of training and 12 weeks placement in a childcare setting.

The programme commences on 22nd October, applications must be in by 15th October.

The Programme in more detail:

•The programme is delivered over 16 weeks, with 4 weeks of training and 12 weeks placement in a childcare setting.
•Participants are employed by NDNA as Trainee Nursery Assistants (TNAs), to work 16 hours per week and paid national living wage.
•Training includes underpinning childcare knowledge modules delivered remotely via a live virtual classroom, along with: Safeguarding training, Paediatric First Aid, Speech & Language, L2 Health & Safety, L2 Food Hygiene, L2 Allergy Awareness and a Childminding briefing session.
