Supporting the Armed Forces Community 

The company has an Armed Forces Network (AFN) of more than 150 people, including veterans, reservists and Forces family members. 

This volunteer group provides mentoring, advice and career/personal support to all members and other employees from military backgrounds.  The company also offers advice to potential new recruits from these backgrounds and is seeking to extend its recruiting support to families through liaison with organisations such as FFJ.  

The company also runs a ‘Returnship’ scheme, through which it looks to offer placements and coaching for people who want to return to work after career breaks. 

Flexible working 

Atos has several base locations across the UK and many of its employees are able to work from home or with flexible hours. 

Atos has been an ERS Gold Award holder and signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant since 2016.
