Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
We proudly display the Gold Armed Forces covenant Logo on our main website page. Our ethos is that all service personnel hold desirable attributes for the Renewables Industry, with work patterns and their can-do attitude we will provide veterans, service leavers and their spouses alike the foot in the door that can lead to a fulfillable career in the renewable industry. We assist them via different means, social media, Teams’ meetings, site visit, career transition workshops, and through various charities, we also hold one to ones with the operations and training manager. We are actively working with local TA, cadet centres and Veterans UK, we employ a significant number of veterans within our workforce, we place high value on the skills and work ethic that veterans bring to the workplace.
About us
Established in 2016, OPS-Training was created to provide an extensive range of industry-wide vocational training courses in our Liverpool-based bespoke training centre, including rope-access (IRATA), wind farm safety and maintenance (GWO) and specialist painting and blasting (ICATS).
During this time OPS Training have acquired a reputation for quality, safety and service throughout the renewable energy sector and beyond, supported by an in-house quality assurance system independently accredited to the International Standards of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001.
OPS Training is one of the UK’s leading providers of GWO training courses.
