The job itself

Required as soon as possible, we are seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 1) to primarily support a Year3 child with an ECHP whilst working alongside a dedicated team.

The ideal person/s will be willing to work with children within a school environment and be able to demonstrate the competencies detailed in the employee specification. Knowledge/experience of SEND preferred - particularly pupils with neuro-divergent conditions.

The successful candidate will be required to work every morning Monday - Friday and an additional afternoon each week. There is some flexibility regarding the selected afternoon work pattern and there could potentially be an opportunity for extension of working hours on an ad-hoc basis to cover staff absence.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure. References will be taken up before interviews are undertaken.
