Are you committed to working towards (and do not already have) a Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning in school.

Parkside Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for the post of Apprentice Teaching Assistant from September 2024. If you are self-motivated, keen, and willing to learn and have the enthusiasm to support pupils to meet their full potential both socially and academically we encourage you to apply.

The successful candidate will work towards the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes a Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning. The school will support in house-training, research for assignments, shadowing and mentoring during which you will complete the qualification with an external training provider through East Riding of Yorkshire Council. All the training will be delivered within the school, and you will have guidance and support to complete on the job learning throughout the qualification.

The post is for 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with ½ hour for lunch, term time only plus 5 training days.
