Role/Responsibilities
As the Associate Director Data Management, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Data Quality. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Data Quality process, ensuring the availability, integrity, and accuracy of data on our flagship product Orbis. Your expertise in data management, leadership skills, and strategic thinking will drive the success of our data initiatives and support our objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Development and Implementation Data Quality Strategy: continuously review on optimize, the definition and execution of our comprehensive data quality strategy that aligns with company objectives, ensuring high standards of accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
  • Establish Data Quality Standards: maintain and help improving our data quality standards and procedures that are in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Quality Assessment and Monitoring: Regularly conduct data quality assessments to identify and address issues related to accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Implement ongoing monitoring practices to ensure continuous data quality improvement.
  • Data Governance: collaborate with our data governance committee, advocating for data quality, setting policies for data management, and ensuring adherence to data governance principles.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data operations, data domain owners, analytics, and business units to ensure that data management and quality initiatives meet the needs of all stakeholders and support the company's strategic goals.
  • Data Quality Improvement initiatives: Lead and manage projects aimed at improving the quality of data throughout its lifecycle, from collection and storage to analysis and reporting.
  • Technology and Tools Implementation: Evaluate, select, and implement data quality tools and technologies that enhance the ability to monitor, assess, and improve data quality.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain data quality metrics and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of data operations, producing regular reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.

Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Economics, Finance, or related major. A Master's degree is a plus.
8+ years working experience with proven experience in data quality, data management, and specifically in Master Data Management, with at proven experience in leading data quality projects.
Familiarity with current Data Management tools and platforms
Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data management best practices, and industry standards.
Understanding of data architectures, data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration technologies.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to support organizational decision-making
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, processes, and requirements regarding managing large data sets
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency through the application of technology and automation.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
