Role Overview:

  • Associate Delivery Manager focused on working with stakeholders to ensure that delivery of their product meets Buyside Solutions objectives and customer needs
  • Provide agile expertise, coaching and training across buyside solutions
  • Perform the Scrum Master role

Responsibilities:


For their chosen product(s), work with product managers, technology managers and teams to:

  • Objectives are defined, communicated and progress against them is reviewed
  • Ensure backlogs are well maintained and prioritised
  • Identify, raise and resolve issues impacting the development, release and support of the product in the live environment
  • Define, document and review product development processes
  • Apply the sensible use of metrics to track progress and identify issues
  • Facilitate product level ceremonies
  • Where required to resolve challenges at both team level day-to-day and product level, through a more strategic lens.

Working with other delivery managers and head of product delivery to provide:

  • Guidance of working practices across the portfolio
  • Visibility of issues impacting delivery to senior management
  • Coaching on agile working, communication and collaboration
  • Facilitation of planning event ceremonies

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree).
  • Thorough knowledge of agile values and practices.
  • 2-3 years experience working in a similar role.
  • Detail-oriented disposition and clear, concise communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to navigate difficult conversations.
  • Beneficial: Knowledge of computer science, applied mathematics, finance.
  • Someone who is a Scrum Master would also be beneficial
