Salary £34,650 per annum, to include company van, fuel card, PPE, uniform.

Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.

About the Role:

As a Carpenter you will be working alongside Hammersmith & Fulham Council in our Social housing sector, providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

A Carpenter within our Hammersmith & Fulham branch you will support residents with reactive repairs across our portfolio of properties working on a planned route, undertaking high standard refurbishments to Housing properties. You will be responsible for window repairs to both timber & UPVC, door repairs / renewals and a variety of other carpentry works delivering excellent customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards.

Role Criteria

  • City & Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery
  • Window repairs experience
  • Worked within the social housing background.
  • Good Customer Service skills
