About the role: Casual Digital Admissions Adviser 

We are looking for Digital Admissions Advisers to join our team on a casual basis between 24 June and 27 September 2024 to support with our main student enrolment period. Prior to these dates, you will be given 2 weeks of paid training to prepare you for the role, starting from 24 June 2024.  

We have an exciting opportunity available within our Contact Centre at our Reading College campus, offering up to 37 hours per week. In this role, no two days are the same. You will be joining our established team of friendly advisers to ensure we deliver and maintain an exceptional service to all customers, offering a first point resolution to customers over the phone and through enquiries.  

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in expanding their skills in customer service and administrative support within the education sector, as well as a range of transferrable skills. 

You may not have considered using your skills in this way before, so this could take your career and experience in a new direction and may also present opportunities longer term, to provide you with a varied and fulfilling career path. 

What do you need to be successful as a Digital Admissions Adviser at Activate Learning? 

You will have a positive mindset and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Previous relevant customer service experience is not required but is desirable. 

Strong personal organisation and communication skills are required for this role. IT skills are essential, along with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications. 

This is a fast-paced environment, and as a team we will handle a large volume of telephone calls and enquiries. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, and have a flexible approach, with a proactive attitude to problem solving and the ability to work to deadlines. 

There is an expectation upon stepping into this role that you will be able to work during our enrolment training day on 15 July as well as GCSE results day on 22 August.
