Chef Supervisor

We are currently recruiting a Chef Supervisor to join our team working at HMP Birmingham, Winson Green Road, Birmingham, B18 4AS
 

• £12.30 per hour
• Full time! 35 hours per week over 4 shifts, with alternate weekends off
• Shifts ranging between 7.30am - 5.15pm

• Work with a team of chefs and enhanced inmates to deliver meals, 3 times a day
• Supervising and assisting enhanced inmates in the kitchen
• Work alongside prisoner workforces and assist them in cooking meals and preparing food
• You will be responsible for the preparation of basic quality foods within a set pre ordered menu
• Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets
• Full knowledge of all menu items served
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy
• Fill in all relevant paperwork and due diligence forms
• Be an excellent team player and be able to deal with conflict if it arises
• Undertake relevant training as required
   

• Must be 18+
• City & Guilds 706/2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
• Level 3 food safety or equivalent or be willing to obtain this on our e learning platform
• Enhanced security vetting will be required due to the nature and location of the role
