Full time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week

 Salary up to £25,200 per annum, plus, company vehicle & fuel card.

Mears provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers whilst their claim is being assessed in three regions: Northwest, Yorkshire and Humber, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs.

About the Role:

Due to further agreed works with our customer and new acquisition wins we are seeking an Cleaner to join our team.

An Cleaner within our Belfast branch you will be  responsible for the undertaking of duties relating to the clean and safe operation of the buildings and surrounding grounds. Reporting to a supervisor, you will clean the site facilities that are under your control in accordance with the cleaning specification; to include but not limited to cleaning of site communal areas, void clearance and public walkways. Additionally, you will be required to complete minor maintenance works, complete emergency system testing and assist the site team as required.

Role Criteria:

  • Full UK Driving experience
  • Previous professional cleaning experience
  • Experience working within a customer faced background
  • Determined can-do' attitude, positive views when faced with challenges
  • Have a flexible approach towards working hours and tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills
