If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer with Welding experience to join our repairs and maintenance division in Coatbridge.
About the Role:
The primary role of a Commercial Gas Engineer will be testing all equipment and appliances within our council properties to ensure they function and meet all safety standards as well as recognise and assess any risks that occur. The successful candidate will be required to install and commission pipework systems and gas appliances along with repairing or replacing other plants. For example, pumps, pipe work, tanks, and motorised valves. All Gas Engineer interact directly with customers on a day-to-day basis.
Role Criteria:
- COCN 1 - Commercial core safety,
- CIGA 1 - Indirect fired appliances,
- CORT 1 - Radiant Tubes,
- ICPN 1 - Commercial pipework,
- TPCP 1 - Testing and Purging under 1m,
- TPCP 1A - testing and purging over 1m.
