Job Description

Blaenau Gwent Council’s Adult Services are currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker to help deliver a high quality service provision within the Community Options Service (Day Services).

The successful candidate will support us in developing services which are both person centred and outcome focused, for adults with a wide range of disabilities to achieve their full potential.

The post-holder will predominantly support the department in delivering an outreach service model within the community, as well as supporting building based activities. 

This exciting opportunity has become available within the Adult Services Community Options Team (Day Services) for a Community Support Worker.

The successful candidate will support individuals with a wide range of disabilities, in both community and building based settings to enable them to meet their outcomes, whilst promoting their independence.

The successful candidate will be required to be flexible in supporting the demands of the service and may be required to work evenings/weekends and Bank Holidays (Pro Rata).
