What you'll do:

You will provide technical assistance and support to end-users ranging from standard users up to the company's Board members, ensuring that computer hardware, software, and peripherals are functioning.  You will manage the operation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment and systems to support presentations, meetings, conferences, and other events within an organisation, predominantly through Microsoft Teams Meeting Rooms.

You will work as part of the End User Services team.

  • Provide expert technical assistance to customers facing issues with End User computing products, including printers, hardware and software troubleshooting, device setup, configuration and authentication. 
  • Diagnose and assess customer issues to determine the appropriate solution or service needed.
  • Help connect and configure laptops, mobile devices, and other external sources to display content on screens or through audio systems.
  • Setup and configure audio-visual equipment, including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, MTR, and other related technology. 
  • Conduct daily maintenance checks to ensure all equipment is in working order, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Collaborate with event organisers to assess their audio-visual needs and provide recommendations for the most suitable equipment, presentation space and setup.
  • Operate audio-visual systems during meetings, conferences, and presentations, ensuring the highest quality audio and video performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of audio-visual equipment inventory, including tracking assets, warranty, maintenance schedules, and software updates.

What we look for:

  • Experience IT support or a related role

  • Proficiency in audio-visual software, such as video conferencing platforms and media production software

  • Microsoft Teams and Teams meeting rooms support

  • Experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment and systems

  • Passion for customer service and customer focus mindset

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, and familiarity with Mac and Linux operating systems

  • Relevant accreditations (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician

  • InfoComm CTS are advantageous
