Job Description

We’re looking for Digital Test Manager to join our dynamic team, this role is responsible for agreeing and co-ordinating Test activity for assigned Projects to meet schedule commitments and achieve required quality and compliance standards as set out within the Testing framework defined by the Testing Assurance, ensuring that project delivery achieves change management approval.

What you’ll be doing as a Digital Test Manager
  • Define the Project Test Approach based on project scope and with reference to the Thames Water Testing Policy
  • Agree the Project Test Approach with Testing Assurance, resolving any feedback and escalating to relevant Project Manager where agreement cannot be reached
  • Track test progress, taking corrective action proactively
  • Maintain effective engagement with the Thames Water and Service Provider functions to carry out the test management activities
  • Agree the Test Environment Specification and co-ordinate environment requirements with  Test Environment Management
  • Provide test thought leadership to help shape and inform appropriate User Acceptance Test User cases for assigned Project(s)
  • Influencing internal stakeholders, suppliers and partners within the assigned Project(s) and ensuring that testing activity required is executed within agreed deadlines
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of Testing and recognised generic industry bodies of knowledge and applying that knowledge effectively in unfamiliar situations
Base Location: Reading - Hybrid
Working Pattern: 36 Hours

What you should bring to the role
  • Test management skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Cyber security experience
  • Robust experience of managing SIT, UAT and Postproduction Testing
  • ISTQB Foundation in testing
  • Very good working knowledge on Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Strong communication skills
