DVLA Enforcement Officer

DVLA Glasgow (Based KA24)

42.5hrs per week

£12p/h (£26520K per Annum)

Shift work including weekends.

Role Overview

Join our team as a DVLA Enforcement Officer, where you'll play a crucial role in Enforcing untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Clamping untaxed vehicles.
  • Engaging with members of the public, offering guidance on clamping procedures and fines.
  • Providing advice on payment methods and addressing queries regarding enforcement actions.
  • Collaborating with other agencies such as the Police, DVLA, and VOSA when necessary.
  • Handling public inquiries regarding enforcement actions and ensuring the availability of relevant information packs.
  • Maintaining the operational readiness of vehicles and enforcement equipment, promptly reporting any faults to the Manager.
  • Compiling daily reports detailing activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Customer-Focused
  • Ability to work shifts and independently
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
