Job Description

Landmarc Support Services currently require an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our thriving business at Okehampton camp in Devon.

This role will require you to be responsible for any maintenance both planned and reactive on site. The successful candidate will be a good team player, working within a small but dedicated team and have the ability to work alone or with minimum supervision.

This position is being offered on a permanent basis, covering 37 hours per week, between Monday and Friday. On Call duties will be required, overtime will be applicable.

Main Responsibilities

Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary work orders and paperwork is completed accurately and as required

Prioritising and completing maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales

Electrical testing and repairs of buildings and various other systems where required to do so across multiple sites

Undertake Portable Appliance Testing and repairs where required across multiple sites ensuring all tools and equipment are available and serviceable

Assist other trade technicians with any major or minor maintenance work

Comply with all statutory workplace safety requirements (Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Manual Handling, Working at Height, etc.)

The Ideal Candidate

Will have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Essential)

BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations plus amendments (Essential)

BS2391 or equivalent inspection and testing (Essential)

IPAF, City and guilds or NVQ equivalent (Desirable)

Experience of PLC's and Building management systems including Trend controllers (Desirable)

Be willing to participate in on call rota (Essential)

Will be a problem solver and have a can-do approach

Be willing to undertake training and development

Experience of working in a commercial environment where quality and compliance are paramount

Good IT skills and experience of using mobile devices

Excellent communication skills

Have a full driving licence valid in the United Kingdom (Essential)
