Job Description

Landmarc Support Services, a leading facilities management company, is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our thriving business at Otterburn Camp in Northumberland.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, and will be committed to providing exceptional service to our client.

This role is initially being offered on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract, working predominantly Monday to Friday however; there will be a requirement to participate in out of hour on call duties (allowance applicable).

Main Responsibilities
  • Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
  • Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
  • Prioritising and completing maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
  • Install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations in a Built Estate Environment, in accordance with the current edition of the IET Wiring Regulations and in-line with company KPI's.
  • Reactive Maintenance
  • Installation & Testing/EICR
  • Comply with all statutory workplace safety requirements (Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Manual Handling, Working at Height, etc.)
  • Be part of the On-Call duty rota (outside normal working hours)  
  • Complete appropriate and relevant Electrical Certificate(s) and Electrical Condition Report(s) where required.
The Ideal Candidate
  • 18 th . Edition BS7671
  • C&G 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
  • C&G 2357 Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation/Maintenance (Essential)
  • 18th Edition BS7671 (Essential)
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (Essential)
  • JIB Registered (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be willing to participate in on call rota
  • Have a full driving licence valid in the United Kingdom (Essential)
