Job Title: Electrical - QC Inspector II

Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Up to £41,280 dependent on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Needs to be fully conversant with local workmanship standards as applicable
  • Needs to be fully conversant with relevant Quality management Systems
  • Undertake routine QC Inspections without immediate supervision
  • Support internal and external audits as required
  • Have a clear understanding of and be able to apply local Management System policies, procedures and processes

Your skills and experiences:

  • Have a detailed knowledge in all aspects of QC Inspection
  • Have a detailed knowledge of Defence industry and ISO9001/AS9100AD standards
  • Have an understanding of statistical Process Control
  • Have a good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Detailed understanding of own discipline within Quality and a good understanding of other disciplines

The QC Inspection Team:

You will be joining a highly experience expanding team of inspectors, whose primary role is to ensure product is fully compliant to drawing/purchase order requirements. You will be working in the radar sector of Maritime Services area od BAE, where there is a vast future career opportunities.
