£35,564.54 - 38 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen in West/North Yorkshire, based in Leeds for an electrician to become part of the Mears family. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, and can work using their own initiative to effectively problem solve but also work as part of a team, made up of different tradespeople.

About the Role:

Carrying out local work, you will be employed as an electrician working on adaptations contracts, both privately owned and local authority properties, around Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate. The role will be 1st and 2nd fix to wet rooms and extensions and upgrades to facilitate disabled renovations, including testing and inspecting.

Role Criteria:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition
  • On the job experience
  • Ideally previous domestic, social housing experience
  • Full UK Driving licence

As an Electrician, you will receive:

  • £35,564 for 38 hours a week with the possibility of a completion bonus after all works are completed.

There is opportunity for progression within Mears. Over 50% of the supervisory staff in Leeds have come from working on the tools. Through Mears Learning There is extra training available on subjects such as Mental Health First Aid etc, and further education such as mentor courses etc, for people who see supervisory/management roles in their future.
