Events Co-ordinator

Full time, 37 hours per week

£25,742 to £28,759 per annum

 

The Conference Office at University of Winchester is looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our Conference and Events team. This is an exciting opportunity work within a team on both commercial and internal events at the University. You will build on our recognised and outstanding reputation for successful delivery of a diverse range of functions and events.

 

As our Events Co-ordinator you will play an active part in looking after our current established business as well as assisting the team to generate new business for the future. You will be responsible for the successful planning, administration, and operational co-ordination of commercial events both external and internal, as well as responding to and converting sales enquiries.

 

You will have proven events experience, be a good team player with excellent communications and customer care skills, well-organised, forward thinking, and with excellent attention to detail.  The ability to remain calm under pressure will be an advantage

 

Hours will be worked on 5 days in 7 shift rota and will include regular evening and weekend working.
