The job itself

We are looking to appoint a new Family Welfare Officer from 1 st September 2024. Committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of our children within our ethos of every child, every chance, every day , the post-holder will be empathetic yet resilient, knowledgeable about safeguarding guidance/practice and experienced in working with children, families and external agencies. A good communicator with excellent written and oral skills, the successful candidate will be the lead role for referring safeguarding concerns and raising awareness and understanding of safeguarding and best practice within the school community. To enable a smooth transition into role with time to get to know our community, the successful candidate will have a term's overlap with the outgoing post holder.
