Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience

The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Manufacturing UK Finance team, supporting the UK Manufacturing function. We have over 900 employees, a direct cost base of £96m and our outputs generate revenues of £1bn per annum.
You will be joining a growing team of enthusiastic individuals, passionate about the role they play. As a Business Partner, you will deliver financial expertise and guidance to the Manufacturing function to achieve its annual objectives. This is a hands-on' role that will require you to be involved in working up the detail.
In this role, you will be the line manager for one colleague and the deputy to the Manufacturing UK Finance Manager.
You will:
Provide financial expertise in the support to and management of our product UPCs, delivering accurate, timely and valuable management information
Collaborate with the Manufacturing New Business team to help generate robust cost estimates at the bid phase
Be involved in the generation and implementation of business cases to support multi-million investments in our manufacturing capabilities and facilities
Support the SAP 4/HANA Implementation Lead on the manufacturing business process interfaces for the delivery of the wholesale SAP system upgrade
Be a key representative for manufacturing Continuous Improvement initiatives
What we're looking for from you:
You will be a qualified accountant with experience within a large, manufacturing based environment
Experience of SAP and an associated Manufacturing Execution System would be a significant advantage
Knowledge of manufacturing based performance metrics
Willingness to travel to other MBDA UK sites as and when needed, as well as Europe if required
