We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.

About the Role:

As a General Operative you will be delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. You will be carrying out external works, Assisting with roofing repairs, Brickwork and general ground and estate management. External works, assisting with general roof repairs - brick work and general ground works, general estate management. Removing waste from site and delivering materials to site.

As a General Operative you will be out supporting the team to delivered the planned works to support the residents with repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties, working with direction from the site team with a wide range of general repairs and maintenance/support tasks. Part of a local team undertaking high standard General repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.

Role Criteria:

  • UK Full Driving Licence.
  • General Manual Handling.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Good Customer Service Skills
  • Previous experience in the building trade.
