Location: Leicester office - 3 day per week, Work from home 2 days per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37.5, Monday to Friday, day hours

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum + Excellent benefits

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Graphic Designer to join our fun and vibrant marketing team.

 

You will be a mid-weight designer with plenty of experience, who's used to working within a collaborative creative team within a fast-paced marketing department.
 

Collaborating closely with the Design Lead you will help to bring our brand vision to life through impactful design across various platforms with the ability to flex between different media and disciplines with ease.

Role responsibilities

  • Working within our set brand guidelines and maintaining our brands consistency across all design projects
  • Contribute your creative ideas to projects and campaigns and always thinking how we can improve
  • Create eye-catching marketing materials for both digital and print
  • Deliver creative assets for our Leisure centres and national sports centres (e.g. Centre refurbishments, campaign materials print and digital, video creation and editing)
  • Create assets for Paid Social Media accounts in line with brand guidelines, then tweak and refine them based on performance
  • Collaborate with CRM team to designs for email marketing
  • Assist in maintaining our Asset Banks, keeping them up-to-date and well-organised and fit-for-use at all times
  • Provide design support for our Business Development Team (e.g. Presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint, Pitch Decks and mock ups)


You'll have

  • A degree in Design or equivalent
  • A positive disposition and a pragmatic attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to express creative ideas
  • Commercial awareness - experience within a brand is plus
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Suite and other creative tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are a must; bonus points for After Effects and Premiere Pro)
  • Attention to detail and a knack for creative problem-solving
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise
  • A strong creative drive
  • Decent knowledge of MacOS (we're all about that Apple life)
  • Strong typesetting skills and awareness of print-ready processes including first class knowledge of art working large format graphics
  • Holding a driving license is desirable as you will visit leisure sites when required

  • A good creative thinker and design technician with the ability to design competent creative output
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and support the studio's workload each day
  • Organised and loves the detail and your attention to it should be second to none
  • An interest in fitness and the leisure industry a bonus but not neccessary
  • A strong team player
  • An ambitious and driven individual
  • Be able to work under pressure to meet the fluctuating workloads and demands of agency deadlines
  • Able to think on your feet and see challenges, not problems
  • Open to learning new skills and sharing existing skills
