We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work on our Schools contract covering the Surrey area.
These are fixed term full time positions and candidates will be required to work 40 hours a week and based at our depot in Guildford.

The Opportunity
  • Duties may include grass cutting, line marking, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, shrub bed maintenance and litter as required.
  • The post holders will be required to drive/tow (if they hold the licence to do so) or be required to operate a large tractor pulling a 10 unit grass cutting machine, therefore a full clean UK driving licence is required for this post, as well as previous experience and relevant tickets.
  • Candidates will also use a range of other tools and some machinery maintenance
The Person
  • Applicants should be enthusiastic, hard working individuals.
  • The post holders may be required to operate tractors, ride-on mowers and drive company vehicles/tow trailers therefore a full clean UK driving licence is required for all posts.
  • Applicants must be reliable and conscientious, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn with the ability to work on their own initiative.
  • Previous experience of grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks and use of handheld machinery is desirable but full training will be given.
