Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of, and an active interest in, digital content creation to include copywriting, photography/videography and graphic design. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to implement the marketing plan across all digital channels including website, app and social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of creating and implementing digital marketing activity across multiple channels, including analytics, and knowledge of a range of digital platforms including Word Press, Hootsuite, and Adobe, as well as understanding of SEO.

The successful candidate will have a creative flair, both with written communication and design.

The role & responsibilities

  • Assisting the Director of Marketing & Communications with campaigns and events
  • Performing administrative tasks such as updating databases and spreadsheets
  • Conducting market research and developing effective marketing strategies
  • Creating engaging and SEO friendly content for the company’s website, social media pages and for press releases
  • Coordinating with the Director of Marketing & Communications to schedule all marketing activities
  • Preparing and conducting surveys/questionnaires to gather stakeholder feedback
  • Communicating with stakeholders
  • Ensuring proper portrayal of brand’s image and tone
  • Conducting research on latest market trends and keywords
  • Drafting marketing emails
  • Tracking the subscriber count
  • Maintaining the company’s all social media accounts
  • Attending marketing events and training sessions
  • Analysing and tracking online marketing metrics

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven full time or part time experience in a Digital Marketing role
  • Must have creative writing ability, with excellent attention to spelling and grammar
  • Understanding of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Webmasters, and others
  • Knowledge of latest market trends and social media marketing techniques
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research
  • Familiarity with different social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Knowledge of email marketing software including MailChimp
  • Familiarity with basic editing software like CorelDraw / VideoStudio / Photoshop to create brochures and newsletters
  • Familiarity with website optimisation tools like Hotjar, SimilarWeb and Screaming Frog

Due to the nature of our business, to include the data we process and our teams access to young people and vulnerable adults, we require all members of staff to undertake a DBS check.
