Main Responsibilities1. Comply with all Company & client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your work place
2. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the service yard including but not limited to, stacking all kitchen delivery boxes, pallets, cages in designated areas. Sweeping yard including smoking area, ensuring bin storage area is tidy
3. Maintain the upkeep and tidiness of the outdoor kitchen and equipment through daily checking. Kitchen should remain clean, tidy and organized every day according to the Company's standards and to the agreed specification of the client
4. Ensure the Caledonian Hall kitchen maintains a high level of cleanliness through a weekly deep clean in accordance to company and client policies.
5. Receive and check in all cleaning and disposable goods and check against invoice for quality and quantity
6. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
7. Keep all work areas and surfaces clean and tidy at all times. Assist with routine cleaning schedules as required and ensure high standards of personal performance, hygiene, appearance and cleanliness at all times
8. Ensure the kitchen is closed to the highest level of cleanliness in accordance to Health & Safety Laws, company policy and client expectation.
9. Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service, which Sodexo provide
10. Work as a team to promote harmonious working relationships within the Sodexo team
11. Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such or advice as may be appropriate.
12. Cover in other areas during periods of holidays and sickness
13. Assist at any special ad-hoc functions, some of which may occur outside working hour
14. Comply with all Sodexo Company policies/procedures and client site rules and regulations
15. Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management
The Ideal Candidate1. Excellent spoken English and communication skills
2. High standards of personal presentation
3. Able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays

4. Previous KP experience
5.Good awareness of industry standards
