Join us as a Lead Credit Modelling Data Analyst

What you'll do

As a Lead Credit Modelling Data Analyst, you'll be developing and maintaining structured processes which analyse business risk profiles and decisions with reference to regulatory and risk policy requirements.

Day-to-day, you’ll also be:

  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis and preparing insightful advice for business consideration
  • Carrying out governance and control activities including deliverables tracking, reviewing or preparing meeting minutes, reporting on process and control environment and managing control remediation activities      
  • Leading the delivery of regulatory-compliant data for credit modelling
  • Delivering change that enhances the efficiency or effectiveness of Credit Insight and Analytics analytical output

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring banking or financial services experience, along with experience of risk systems, methodologies and processes in a retail or wholesale bank environment. You’ll also be educated to degree level in a numerate discipline with experience in data driven analysis.

Additionally, you'll demonstrate:

  • A track record of delivery across multiple businesses, involving complex stakeholder, process and technology issues
  • Business analysis skills with a specialism in data management including data quality, metadata management, data modelling and analysis along with data governance
  • Good interpersonal and project management skills
  • Knowledge of one or more analytical platforms, such as SAS or Python
  • The ability to work as part of a team, share ideas and learn from others
  • An excellent grasp of the English language, with experience preparing documents to a regulatory standard
  • Extensive knowledge of credit modelling data within the retail banking domain
