Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Experience Designer to join our fast paced and friendly Capita Learning team. This is a zero hours role allowing the successful candidate to join us to deliver projects alongside other work or balancing work with other commitments.

Within this role you will work alongside our skilled, market leading team to design blended learning projects for our clients. Working with the client and other members of the team you will be pivotal in ensuring that we deliver a first class solution that meets and where possible exceeds our clients' expectations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Establish a good rapport and consultative relationship with clients and understand their business, their requirements, and the bigger picture.
  • Define and articulate a blended programme or curriculum design to your client and to the internal production team.
  • Confidently collaborate with SMEs, or research independently, to content map across blended modalities, working to qualification standards if appropriate.
  • Work in collaboration with colleagues from the consultancy, media production, technical and project management disciplines to deliver solutions that meet the client's brief and are achievable within time, technology, and budget.
  • Script solutions into writing or authoring tools where necessary.
  • Proactively research and champion the latest and emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record as a learning experience designer across a range of industries and modalities including ILT, digital, video, animation, curation, manager toolkits, action-based learning, social/peer-based experiences and formal assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and have meaningful discussions about their future learning strategies
  • Great knowledge of the digital learning market
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
