Job title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Scotstoun/Govan
Salary: £36,217 (plus 33% shift allowance if applicable)
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out the electrical maintenance and repair of various hi-tech/critical machines onsite
- Using, installing, and maintaining both workshop machinery and the general plant
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems within the sites building and yard
- Complying with SHE guidelines and ensuring to carry out all tasks safely
- Completing all tasks to the required standard and quality, whilst meeting completion dates
- Assisting supervisors with shop floor related issues as and when required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Time served 3-4-year electrical apprenticeship (with ability to provide papers)
- Experience of electrical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings
- Ability to work at height
Desirable:
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Safety certification i.e. SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height
