Job Description

Landmarc Support Services, a leading facilities management company, is currently seeking a Domestic Gas & Heating Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic business at Otterburn Camp in Northumberland.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing gas and heating systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gas and heating maintenance, and will be committed to providing exceptional service to our client.

This role is initially being offered on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract, working predominantly Monday to Friday however; there will be a requirement to participate in out of hour on call duties (allowance applicable).

Main Responsibilities

Domestic LPG Boiler/Appliance Maintenance, Service, Install, Commission & Safety Checks.

Produce Landlords Certificates & CP12's

Carry out Landlord Gas Safety Inspections and action remedial works where required.

To complete certification and work orders in a timely manner in line with our KPIs.

To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective site delivery e.g. asset users (including tenants), the Employers representatives and contractors.

Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to, conducting all necessary risk assessments, method statements and other safe systems of work when required.

Maintain competence, skills and abilities within relevant disciplines attending further training courses when required.

Drive and operate fleet vehicles, travelling to other regional sites where necessary.

Work as part of an On-call rota where required (Outside of normal working hours)

The Ideal Candidate

Domestic LPG Gas-Safe Registered (Essential)

Hold certificates in WRAS, CCN1, CENWAT (Essential)

Knowledge of;

  • Boilers
  • Vented Cylinders
  • Gas Fires
  • Analysis
  • Water Heaters & Pipework

Commercial background desirable but not essential

Gas Safe Commercial, OFTEC & HETAS qualified

Knowledge of Health & Safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work

Experience of communicating with customers

Must hold Full Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
