Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Role Overview:
Provide application development, testing, and support for software solutions. Develop new solutions and improve existing infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and document software solutions based on designs and standards.

Evaluate solutions, data flows, and mappings; conduct unit and system testing.

Implement products adhering to ITIL change control processes.

Support and maintain software systems to meet business needs.

Consult with stakeholders, collect data, and recommend options.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Represent Warwickshire Police and Digital Services Directorate at meetings.

Maintain relationships with Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other suppliers.

Knowledge & Experience:

Degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF, Prince2).

Power Apps development, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI.

Experience with Azure DevOps, DotNet development (C#, .Net), SQL Server.

Familiarity with Intelligent Automation toolsets (Blue Prism, Power Automate) and cloud providers (Azure & AWS).

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to anticipate risks, find solutions, and influence change.

Proficient in programming languages and software tools.

Experience in software development methodologies and database software.

Special Conditions:

On-call rota participation.

Regular travel within Warwickshire.
