Celtic Horizons delivers estate services for United Welsh, including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, repairs and maintenance. Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh who have entered into a partnership with Mears Group. Celtic Horizons care for over 5000 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment. You will be working on individual jobs to ensure our clients receive high levels of service and satisfaction.

Work will be based in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan. We need someone whose core trade is carpentry but can turn their hand at other tasks too like resolving minor plumbing issues, Plastering and Locksmith experience. You will work primarily independently but occasionally with another operative. Being able to work affectively on your own and in a team is imperative.

Role Criteria:

  • CITB Carpenter or NVQ level 3 in Carpentry with hands on work experience
  • Plumbing skills-Charging tape, WC, baths and basins
  • Plastering Skills-Wall and ceiling repairs
  • Locksmith skills-Charging cylinders and door mechanisms
  • Basic skills with installing Windows, Fencing and Tiling in bathrooms and floors.
  • Overhauling skills
  • Social housing experience
  • Full UK driving licence
