£33,485.00 per annum (Pro rata)

37.5 hours per week

Fixed Term until 01/04/2025

 

About the role

Leading a team of Navigator workers across 3 services (Housing First, RSAP and RSI) coordinating a unique multi agency targeted, Principle lead model to address the issue of rough sleeping including those most marginalised/hard to reach individuals who may be experiencing a complexity of needs such as poor Mental Health, offending, substance misuse.

Manage the referral pathways in and out of service.

Collate and share information daily with partners to provide the best interventions for individuals, which are bespoke and tailored according to individuals’ requirements.

Lead on meetings with external agencies to develop professional relationships and deliver a quality service to customers.

Be responsible for all finance situations including:

  • Grant funded posts
  • Hour utilisation

Being accountable for all aspects of the service, including the implementation and consistency of approach of policies and procedures

Work collaboratively with the police and enforcement agencies and Outreach services to support clients engaging in street activity/begging and attend the cities fortnightly enforcement meetings.

Provide day to day supervision to Navigators, including carrying out formal 121 sessions monthly and annual appraisals, case and client reviews and managing the HR system for all direct reports

Be responsible for team performance against contract stipulations and other Key Performance Indicators, meeting all regulatory standards.

Lead and carry out the recruitment and selection of staff

To complete quality assurance of all customer paperwork and customer files within service

To complete reports and feedback, as and when required, including the maximisation of income and performance management.

To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people, and children in line with Safeguarding regulations. 

Lead for health and safety within areas of responsibility

Ensure that outreach service is fully compliant with the organisation's policies and procedures

Any other task involvement as required by Service Lead/Head of Service in relation to Reach and Trident Group

Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes

About You

  • Experience of leading or managing a team and developing the team with proven results 
  • Experience of working collaboratively and effectively with partner organisations, with demonstrable success
  • An understanding of/and commitment to Equal Opportunities
  • Experience of working with Microsoft applications and reporting
  • Attention to detail including experience of keeping accurate and compliant records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professional integrity
