We are looking for a generalist who embodies the interface to our internal departments and external service providers / service partners in the areas of facility management and purchasing! This position reports directly to the Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the condition of our rental space, record fault reports and concerns of our employees, process and manage them
  • Carry out maintenance, minor repairs and troubleshooting independently
  • Support the implementation of conversions, new workplace concepts and (internal) employee relocations
  • Prepare workplaces for new employees, give them an introduction to office processes and provide support when an employee leaves.
  • Obtain offers, negotiate services, place orders after internal approval and coordinate the implementation
  • Determine order quantities for consumables, place orders and check deliveries
  • Process the invoices for the services and orders placed
  • Manage the corporate customer AMEX account and mediate technical questions and challenges between internal and external parties.
  • Conduct business correspondence in German and English
  • Support the office manager in other projects

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial or technical training
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Several years of experience in a global company as well as experience in project management and the control of service providers
  • Basic understanding of processes in the company, manual skills, and technical understanding
  • First experiences in commercial transaction processing
  • Strong communication skills, negotiating skills and a confident, convincing, but friendly demeanour
  • Quick comprehension, implementation skills, high service orientation, high degree of flexibility, resilience, organizational talent, and a structured way of working
  • Openness to new things, initiative, reliability, a sense of responsibility
  • Independent work if necessary, team player whenever possible
